MSIC 52nd Annual Meeting and Holiday Reception
MSIC’s Holiday Reception and 52nd Annual Meeting was held on December 12 at the Worcester Art Museum in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Ninety members and their guests attended this great event to discuss MSIC’s undertakings to support the credit union industry, and to share in an evening of holiday merriment. Chairman Ken DelRossi opened the Annual Meeting and shared his vision of MSIC and its important role in the financial health and wellness of the credit union movement. President & CEO Mike Hanson then spoke about the specifics of MSIC’s initiatives for the upcoming year, the obstacles ahead and the effects of the current economic climate. Before closing the meeting, Mr. Hanson congratulated Polish National Credit Union Senior Vice President Jim Nagy on his retirement after 44 years in the credit union industry, and PCT Federal Credit Union CEO Ann Theberge on her retirement after 21 years of service. He thanked Mr. Nagy and Ms. Theberge for their great service and contributions to MSIC, the credit union movement and their communities throughout the years and wished them the all the best on behalf of MSIC and its membership. Immediately following the Annual Meeting, guests were invited to share in food, drink and great company at the holiday reception, and to visit a number of the museum galleries.
At MSIC’s 52nd AnnualMeeting, Debbie Guiney, President and CEO of AllCom Credit Union; Tina Sbrega, President and CEO of GFA Federal Credit Union; David Snow, President of Alpha Credit Union; Dr. Richard Mitchell of Brigham & Women’s Hospital and Diane Peralta of Mercadante & Mercadante, PC were reelected to a three-year term on the MSIC Board of Directors. Congratulations to all!
